Our Mission

Tartam or Nijnam is the foundation of Sri Nijanand Sampradaya.  All sundersath devotees recite it daily as a Mantra - a mystical formula.  In the fourth and the fifth verses of Tartam, we make the following commitment to our Lord Sri Rajji as a token of our divine relationship:

Anga utkantha upji, mere karna eah vichhar |
Eah sat wani math ke, leun jo ean ko saar ||

O Rajji!  Now that you are in my heart, I feel extremely excited.  I am determined to ponder about your Holy Words, and take the ultimate meanings of these Words to my heart.

Eah sar mahen kai sat sukh, so mein nirne karun nirdhar |
Eah sukh deun brahmn srishti ko, toh mein angna naar||

In your Holy Words, I find unlimited happiness.  I reaffirm this.  I truly promise to share this divine happiness with other Souls, who are not yet awake.  I deserve being your true Soul ONLY if I fulfill this promise.

Before we descended to this world, we made this same promise of mutual awakening (Jagni) in front of our Lord in our Eternal Abode, the Paramdham.

Jo too bhuley mein tuzko, deungi turat jagaye |
Mein bhulaun toh too muzeh, pal mein dijey baataye || (KS:Khil:11/44)

Piyu Jagaayi muzeh eakli, mein jagaaun bandhey jutth  |
Eah jimi juthi dukhki, so kar deun sat sukh || (KS, Kal.Hi: 12/44)

To fulfill this divine commitment, our Lord inspired us to continue the work of awakening or ‘Jagni Abhiyaan,’ which He had already initiated centuries ago. Lord Sri Prannathji had handed over this Divine Work to a great Soul Maharaja Chhatrasalji, and was consequently handed over to all Sundersath Souls.  For this very reason, the Holy Kuljam Swaroop recognizes the current period as the ‘Sixth Day of Jagni’ by the Sundersath Souls.
In the time when diverse cultures are experiencing a very close interaction in their day-to-day life, we think we can not afford to remain locked within the worldly boundaries of just being a Hindu or a Muslim or a Christian.  We believe that all humans must rise above these barriers to create peace, harmony and happiness in this world.  And, we try to do all this under the umbrella of the Lord’s Divine Grace.  We welcome everyone to join this mission of Lord Prannath.

We are ordinary Sundersath souls like all of you.  We represent thousands of Sundersath souls from all diverse regional, cultural, and professional backgrounds.  We are united to bring about awareness among all humans about those key aspects of the Divine Wisdom of Lord Prannath, which we think are more reflective of Sri Prannathji’s teachings.  We believe that these teachings are much needed for the spiritual as well as worldly well being of all humans.

At Sri Nijanand Jagni Abhiyaan, we believe that: “A belief system serves as the highest spiritual guiding force in one’s life.  Therefore, it must be based on the Supreme Lord’s Divine Wisdom.  Such Wisdom has very deep and strong roots that can bring true peace, unity and love on this planet earth.  The goal is to prevent our belief system from becoming ‘a tree with decayed roots.’  As predicted in the Letter (the Pati) of the Founder of the Faith, Nijanand Swami Dhani Sri Devchandraji, the Divine Wisdom remained unexplored for more than 250 years.

It was the Lord’s Will that this divine work began again, when thousands of Sundersaths re-organized themselves in the year 1985 under the umbrella of ‘Sri Nijanand Jagni Abhiyaan.’  The inspiration of Dharmavir Jagni Ratan Sri Jagdish Chandraji re-ignited this fire of new spiritual awakening.

His more than 40 years of sincere devotion, which began by his home-to-home visits, travel from village-to-village, throughout India to speak of the glory of the Divine Wisdom.  A time arrived when thousands of traditional Pranamis, Non-Pranamis, including Muslims, Sikhs, Jains and others realized the true value of the Divine Treasure.

By the end of the millennium, this divine work as accomplished the following major goals:

Sri Nijanand Jagni Abhiyaan brings to you preachers from diverse background, who can offer programs in Hindi, Gujarati, and even in English.  Through our Lord’s grace, they have built a very strong “Nijanandi” foundation among thousands of Sundersaths and outsiders.  Singer sundersaths dedicated exclusively to Sri Mukh Wani singing bring a unique flavor to our spiritual camps (Shibir).  You may contact us if you would like to have such program in your town.

In conclusion, we invite all to participate in this divine process.  This is everyone’s work.  Sri Nijanand Jagni Abhiyaan is not about any individual or a small group of people with special worldly interest.  It is about showing our Love for the Lord by demonstrating our compliance with the promises we made to Him.  We welcome all to discuss their views and ideas so we can promote this Divine Cause.  Our Lord has promised that He will bestow His Hukum, His Power, to those who shine His Name in this world.

So toh diya mein tumko, so khuley na bina toom |
Jo meri sudh deo auronko, teet chaley tumhara hukum ||
                                                        ...................Kuljam Swaroop: Singaar: 29/29

We acknowledge Lord’s Grace, and all those upon whom our Lord Showered His Divine Grace to bring this Divine Wisdom to fruition.  We thank our Lord for offering this opportunity to reach out to the world through this medium.

All credit goes to our Lord.  We don’t really deserve it.  Our limited human intellect is at fault for any misinformation.  We appreciate the dedication of all, who touched this divine mission at one or the other point in their life.  However, it would be appropriate to include at least some of these great souls who have provided significant contribution to the entire mission of Sri Nijanand Jagni Abhiyaan and the development of this site:

  1. H.H. Dharmavir Jagni Ratan Sri Jagdish Chandraji, our Inspirer
  2. Pujya Sri Ramanbhai K. Patel, President, Sri Nijanand Jagni Abhiyaan
  3. Pujya Sri Rajan Swami, Nijanand Ashram, Ratanpuri

May We All Find Our Spiritual Abode.

Pranam….Pranam Ji.
