Grace means blessings or kripa. Because it comforts us during the difficult times of our life, we naturally seek refuge in God's Grace. But, the Brahmn Srishti Souls do not need to beg for worldly Grace. These Souls understand the fact that Shri Rajji has already made appropriate arrangements for their worldly needs through Gabriel and Asrafeil, the two archangels.
Jabrail asrafeil, dou bhej diye aamar |
Nigehbani kijiyo, mere khasi bando par ||
---Holy Kuljam Swaroop
Thus, we must realize that Shri Rajji’s Grace is here for some higher purposes--not just to address our worldly problems. No doubt, Grace is available to every individual; however, according to the Holy Kuljam Swaroop, the experience of Grace is proportional to one’s Ankur (spiritual origin) and Karma (actions). Our Grace-experience can reach its Kuljamic peak when we find ourselves in the lotus feet of the Lord. We must be able to see ourselves as a Brahmn Srishti Soul, who has descended from Paramdham to see this worldly drama.
Those who have realized this eternal relationship with the Supreme Brahmn, understand the fact that life without Grace is poisonous. But, it is important that we understand the true nature of Grace and the distinction between Grace and miracle. The occurrence of miracles is not the whole Grace. Miracles are just a transient manifestation of Grace. And, miracles happen automatically where Grace is at work. However, our focus must not shift away from seeking God’s Grace. It is Shri Rajji's choice whether He wants His Grace to become visible to many people through miracles or just bring His Grace secretly to a select individual without others ever knowing about it.
In Meher Sagar, the Lord speaks of two types of Grace: The Jahiri Grace, which is Physical or external in nature, and can be known by others. The Batuni Grace is internal or spiritual in nature, and is experienced mainly by the seeker. The Jahiri Mehar, however, should not be misunderstood as purely worldly in nature. In fact, it has a lot to do with one's Jagni or spiritual awakening. Thus, both types of grace hold significance in the present time. When we don't understand the complete nature of Shri Rajji's Grace, we become easily influenced or overcome by the outside display of miracles and then fail to enjoy the fruits of eternity. Therefore, the Lord says:
Dou meher dekhat khel mein,
lok dekhey upar ka jahur |
Jaye andar meher kachhu
nahin, akhir hoat hakk se dur || M.S. 6
Being aware of the reality of this world and God, an awakened Soul enjoys the benefit of both the graces. The Holy Bitak Saheb is full of incidents where we can see Shri Rajji's Grace at work in many different ways. Meher Sagar also lists numerous examples of the work of Shri Rajji’s Grace.
Examples of the work of Shri Rajji’s Jahiri Grace may include: the descent of the Divine Wisdom in the form of the Holy Kuljam Swaroop, gifting freedom to all worldly Jivas from the cycle of birth and rebirth, descent of the divine messages among the world scriptures as witnesses for the awakening of the Souls, and Akshar Brahmn’s experience of the joy of Paramdham. When Shri Rajji’s Jahiri Grace works on an individual Soul, that person may enjoy full support and company of many great people for the cause of Jagni. He may receive kingly luxuries and his words and actions always reflect gracefulness. Also, this person may have realized the value of the human birth and the true purpose behind this worldly drama. He sees that Shri Rajji’s Grace is prompting everyone in this grand worldly play. He also accepts that His Grace guides one’s character, organs, and senses.
On the other hand, examples of Shri Rajji’s Batuni Grace may include: experiencing one’s presence in Mool Milawa, the unfolding of the secrets of Khilwat, realization of Shri Rajji’s form, sports and abode, receiving the flavor of His Ishak, and transformation of one’s heart into the Abode of Shri Rajji (Arsh Dil) through the realization of the secrets of His heart. When Batuni Grace works on an individual Soul, that person fully realizes the temporal nature of the human body and this phenomenal creation of the five elements. Having known the reality of Brahmn, Maya, and the world, this Soul regards no distinction between suffering and happiness and sees both as the fruits of God’s Grace. Having learned the secrets of Shri Rajji’s heart, such an individual gets engaged in an unceasing worship and receives Shri Rajji’s divine qualities such as His Josh, Hukum, Noor, Ishak, and Elam. Finally, with Batuni Grace, the Soul sees Shri Rajji face-to-face and experiences His Ishak.
Dear Sundersathji! Personally, I consider myself as fortunate to have experienced both the Jahiri and Batuni Grace of Shri Rajji at work during my 20 years of interactions with Pujya Sarkar Shri. His life work provided me with numerous examples of different aspects of Grace. On one hand, he would successfully overcome the worldly struggles to drive the cause of Jagni, and on the other, he would reveal the most secret meanings of the Holy Kuljam Swaroop. His Jagni successes, his physical well being, his receiving the company of great ideological supporters are all examples of Shri Rajji’ Jahiri Grace upon him. His unfolding of the deepest secrets concerning the Love, Beauty, and Glory of Shri Rajji’s heart with appropriate Kuljamic perspectives are the examples of Shri Rajji’ Batuni Grace upon him.
Let’s take the deepest meanings of Meher Sagar into our hearts. Let’s glorify, beautify, and harmonize all aspects of our lives. Let’s plant the seeds of peace, love, wisdom and intimacy in the world. Shri Rajji’s Grace is always with us.
