God Himself is the eternal source of limitless Grace. For this reason, the Holy Kuljam Swaroop calls Him 'the Ocean of Divine Grace' or Meher Sagar. The Divine form (Noori Swaroop) of God (who we dearly call 'Shri Rajji'), constantly releases an abundance of Grace and Love through His ocean-like heart and eyes. All that emerges from His Graceful heart has only one purpose -- giving joy and happiness to His Souls.
Meher Sagar means 'the Ocean of Divine Grace.' Only through God’s Grace can one enjoy the fruits of spiritual awakening. Grace offers an ultimate answer to one’s spiritual queries: "Who am I? Where have I come from? What is the purpose of my existence in this world? Who is the true owner of my soul? Where is the God who created this beautiful Universe? What is the bondage of Maya (illusory power) that takes me away from the truth? How can I break these bondages to attain eternal liberation?"
Meher Sagar also brings us the realization of Shri Rajji’s Divine glory and infinite bliss. It allows us to experience the everlasting harmony, peace and love emanating from His heart. Through wisdom and enlightenment, it allows me to enjoy an everlasting experience of spiritual intimacy. In other words, Meher Sagar brings us the joy of these Seven Oceans: Noor Sagar, the Ocean of Divine Power and Glory; Neer Sagar, the Ocean of Bliss and Beauty; Khir Sagar, the Ocean of Oneness and Harmony; Dadhi Sagar, the Ocean of Peace and Serenity; Dhrut Sagar, the Ocean of Love and Ecstasy; Madhu Sagar, the Ocean of Wisdom or Enlightenment; and Rus Sagar, the Ocean of deep spiritual Intimacy.
When Shri Rajji’s Grace brings us these seven infinite treasures, we are truly and fully enlightened. When this happens, our true purpose of life in this world as well as our Life beyond death is fulfilled. For this reason, Meher Sagar is also called Serva-rus Sagar. It represents Shri Rajji's complete Divine Form, i.e., His Purna Swaroop.
Dear Souls! All we see and experience is the work of Shri Rajji’s Grace. The whole world was created due to His Grace. Because of our unique spiritual relationship, His Grace can never be separated from us. As we experience this worldly drama, we may not feel the presence of His Grace around us, but it is always with us. It is His Grace that is awakening us. Constant awareness of the presence of His Grace dissolves the difference between pain (dukh) and pleasure (sukh).
Grace is like the trunk of a tree that produces a variety of fruits. The one, who climbs the Grace-Tree, reaps the fruits of the Lord's Hukum (Will), Josh (exalted power), Ishak (Divine Love), and Besak Elam (doubtless Wisdom). In other words, with His Grace, His Will, Glory and Power works in our favor. We also receive His Love and Wisdom. It is Shri Rajji’s Grace that determines weather an individual Soul will experience the Jahiri (external) Grace, or the Batuni (internal) Grace, or the both.
We often ignore the Lord’s Grace due to the powerful influence of Maya, the illusory power, upon us. We become unaware of His Grace due to our material greed, ego, and worldly attachments. Let's pause for a moment, and experience Shri Rajji’s Grace in our lives. The higher we climb the ladder of spiritual awakening, the more we begin to experience the work of His Grace.
Finally, I congratulate all sundersath devotees, who have taken this initiative to publish Meher Sagar with in-depth meanings in English. May Shri Rajji shower His amazing Grace upon all.
