The Holy Books and Key Revelations

The Kuljam Swaroop Saheb and Bitak Saheb, the Holy Words of Lord Pran Nath, are regarded to be the two authentic holy books of the Faith that are infallible.  Therefore, in matters of principles, these two holy books are regarded as the ultimate authority.  No major literature was generated during the time of Nijanand Swami, the founder of this Faith.  A variety of literature is available today on the various aspects of the Nijanand Sampradaya.  Various prominent Comrade Sundersath of that time, such as Navrang Swami, wrote a good number of books to expand upon Pran Nath Ji’s Supreme Wisdom.  They do offer a valuable explanation regarding the many topics discussed in the Holy Books; however, these expanded literature must always be tallied with the Original Divine Words of Kuljam Swaroop and Bitak Saheb to understand the true meanings.

The Holy Kuljam Swaroop: The Fifth Veda

The Kuljam Swaroop, the sacred book of the Faith, contains divine words directly emanating from the lips of Mahamati - the one having the spotless (Nish-kalanka) Wisdom, whom Supreme Lord Aksharateet bestowed all His powers.   It is not just a sacred book, it’s the object of worship for the Nijanandis in place of an idol or any godly image.  Literally, "Kul" means total and complete, Jam means a depository, i.e., a complete source of divine wisdom and love.  The word Swaroop attached to Kuljam is quite appropriate, because it explains Swaroop, the true divine form of Supreme Lord.  With full respect, it is called 'Shri Kuljam Swaroop Saheb.'  Its language is chiefly a commonly spoken Hindustani, which is in fact, a mixture of many contemporary Indian regional languages.

Who compiled Kuljam Swaroop?  How authentic is the present version of Kuljam Swaroop? Did anyone make any change in it?

It was compiled in its original handwritten form in 18,758 verses (chaupai) by one devotee Sundersath called Keshavdas, in the period 1692-1694 AD, in the presence of Pran Nath Ji.   All verses were recorded by the Sundersath souls, who used to stay with Pran Nath Ji, exactly in the same manner and language as they emanated from His lips.  No changes have been made by the compiler, or are allowed by anyone either in its material content or its original verse style.   All present versions are pretty much the same.  Yes, there were some attempts to change the style, the order of some chapters, and even the name of the Kuljam Swaroop!  For example, some have even renamed it as ‘Tartam Sagar’ - a more convenient Hindu-styled name.

Who is the author of Kuljam Swaroop?

As we discussed earlier, Kuljam Swaroop is the compilation of the divine words directly emanating from the lips of Mahamati.  However, as we read through the chapters, we find several names such as Mehraj, Indrawati, Mahamati, Chhatrasal, Lalita etc. at the end of some of these chapters.  This leads an outsider to believe that Kuljam Swaroop is authored by more than one person.  But, in reality, it is the same person speaking with different spiritual forces!  Mehraj is the name of a person in who is the soul (Indrawati) of Param Dham.  With all the powers of our Lord, the soul, and therefore Mehraj, earned the title of Mahamati.  These three names are not physically separate.  Also, Indrawati and Mahamati are not the same as Pran Nath Ji.  To better understand this, let’s think of a conference call scenario. Think of three parties on a conference call - Indrawati or Mahamati, Pran Nath Ji (The Lord) and the Sundersath souls.  In Kuljam Swaroop, mostly, Indrawati (or Mahamati) places the phone calls to our Lord Raj Ji; and then Sundersath souls are connected on the line.

Kuljam Swaroop: The 'Swayam-Sam-Veda
It revealed to the Nish-kalanka Buddha, through the Archangel of Jagrit Buddha - Asrafeil.  Its completeness can be experienced from the fact that it discloses the hidden secrets of many world scriptures.  Kuljam Swaroop aims at three specific goals:

Kuljam Swaroop: An explained version of Tartam

The six-versed Tartam is further explained in the Holy Kuljam Swaroop.  The Tartam wisdom serves three distinct purposes for three types of souls in this world.  The Jiva Srishti souls will consider Tartam as a Mantra. Just by reciting it or just by reading the Kuljam Swaroop without really understanding it, a Jiva will be relieved from the cycle of birth and death.  Such a Jiva will attain eternity in the lowest plane of Akshar Brahmn, called Avyakrit Brahmn.  The Ishwari Srishti souls will consider Tartam as a complete source of Spiritual Knowledge.  They will learn everything about Kshar, Akshar and Aksharateet Param Dham.  They will return to their original abode in the Akshar Brahmn's Yogmaya.  The Brahm Srishti souls will consider Tartam as a total source of Nijanand, i.e., as the ocean of bliss.  They will attain the eternal happiness, called Nijanand in the Aksharateet Param Dham.

Kuljam Swaroop reveals the four secrets of the Param Dham:

The Fourteen Volumes of the Holy Kuljam Swaroop

Here, we will attempt to have a brief overview of some important features of the 14 different books of the Holy Kuljam Swaroop.

 I. Shri Raas (913 verses, 1658AD, Jam., Port of Div, also called as Anjil or the new Bible): the key message that the Supreme Truth God is love and love is God.  Raas exemplifies the intimacy of a soul (atman) and the Supreme Atman, Parmatma, through divine sports played in Nitya Brindavan.  In Raas Lila, Consort Shyama, Brahm Srishti souls and the Supreme Lord played the role of Radha, Gopies and Krishna, respectively.  In the beginning, the book explains the nature of maya and shows a way to win over its rule to attain Nijanand.   Raas is the purport of Srimad Bhagvatam, Tartam is the purport of Raas and Jagni is the purport of Tartam.  The secret of Raas has already been discussed before in the book.  In summary,

Srimad Bhagvatam ->    Raas->      Tartam ->    Jagni ->    Nijanand

II. Prakash (Guj. - 1064 verses, Jam., 1658AD; Hindi- 1185 verses, Anup Sahar, 1678 AD): Literally - enlightening of a soul through the supreme wisdom. It explains:

III. KhatRuti  (Gujarat, 230 verses, 168AD, Jam.): primarily includes painful songs of separation of a soul from the Supreme Lord.

IV. Kalas (Guj. - 506 verses, Jam., Surat, 1658 and 1672 AD); Hindi- 771 verses, Anup Sahar, 1678 AD): includes discussion about eternal Brij, Raas, Yogmaya and Buddha Nish-Kalanka Avatar, referencing the secrets of the "Sanatan Hindu Dharma.”

V. Sanandh (Hindi- 1691 verses, Panna, 1683 AD) and Khulasha (Hindi- 1020 verses, Anup Sahar, 1678 AD): reveals similarities and common principles and values of Hinduism and Islam based on major scriptures such as Vedas, Gita, Bhagvatam, Puranas, Koran, and Hadith.  For example, the meaning of Harafe Mukta-Aat 'Alaf-Lam-Mim' is disclosed [Koran, sup. 1, 2].  These three holy words are the names of Allah's three Surats: Alaf=Basri, Prophet Muhammad, Lam=Malki Consort Shyama Dev., and Mim=Hakki, Akhrul Jama Imam Mehndi, Buddha Nish-Kalanka Avatar Lord Pran Nath.

In brief, these books unfold the true meanings of the many mysterious worlds, specifically in the Holy Koran, which have been kept secret for a long period of time.

VI. Kirantan (Hindi, Gujarat, Jati - 2103 verses, various places, 1666 -1691AD): It's an orderly compilation of revelations on different occasions that can be sung the various aspects of spiritualism, such as rigidness in Karmakand, and many prevailing social evils.

VII-X.  Khilwat, Parikrama, Sagar and Singar (Hindi, 1684-1689 AD, Panna; 1074, 2481, 1128 and 2210 verses, respectively):  These books take a reader into the true spiritual journey of Param Dham through detailed explanation of the divine beauty of Supreme Lord, Consort Shyama and souls; the architect, construction, nature and the blissful sports of Param Dham and glory of the Lord's Grace. While it supports the concept of upper heavenly skies, the heart of a comrade is also said to be the true abode of the Supreme Lord.

XI. Sindhi Wani (Sindhi, 600 verses, 1688 - 89 AD, Panna): In this book, the soul of Indrawati goes to the divine court of the Supreme Lord as a lawyer, and fights with Supreme Lord.  It's an example of true fight for the divine love.

XII. Marfat Sagar  (Hindustani, 1034 verses, 1691 AD, Panna) includes Ishak Rabad and prophecies in Hindu and Non-Hindu scriptures regarding the arrival of Buddha Nish-kalanka Avatar or Imam Mehndi or the Second Christ.

XIV. Kayamat Nama (Hindu., Urdu, 1748 verses, 1686 AD, Chitrakut) includes Pran Nath Ji’s final message regarding soul awakening, the Day of Judgement and the Final Dissolution of the universe.  Actually, these are two separate books: The Chhota Kayamat Nama and The Bada Kayamat Nama.

The Holy Bitak Saheb

Literally, Bitak means an account of the past events.  Lord Pran Nath bestowed upon Lal Das Ji, the glorious title of Mahamati and got the composition of Bitak Saheb done through him.  Las Das Ji, who stayed with Pran Nath Ji like His shadow, used to record all the historical events in notes called Waka.   Later, when Pran Nath Ji left the mortal coil in 1694AD, Lal Das Ji compiled Bitak Saheb in 73 chapters or 4,366 verses in Panna Ji.  The book was completed in one month on the day of Krishna Janam-Astmi.  Because Mahamati’s divine powers worked through Laldas Ji, many think that Laldas Ji wrote Bitak Saheb.

The text of Bitak equally utilizes Hindu and Islamic terminologies.  This trend not only reflects the need of that time, but more importantly, it also offers the flavor of oneness among all world faiths.  This holy book is the most authentic first-hand account of the journey of Brahmn Srishti souls, Consort Shyama and Supreme Lord.  Each journey has been described, in order, as follows:

1. The descent of Brahmn Srishti souls, Consort Shyama and Supreme Lord from Param Dham to the first universe of Kaalmaya where they played the divine sports of Brij as Krishna, Radha and Milk-Maids (Gopies)
2. From Brij (Kaalmaya) to Nitya Bribdavan (Yogmaya) where they played the youthful divine sports of Maha Raas as Krishna, Radha and Gopies
3. From Maha Raas to Param Dham
4. Descend of Akshar Brahmn’s divine power as Prophet Muhammad in Arabia, who brought the knowledge of Koran
5. The descent of souls and Tartam knowledge from Param Dham to this world during the period of Nijanand Swami, Spiritual Awakening Jagni Lila of Pran Nath Ji,
6. The sixth day of soul awakening Jagni Abhiyan through Sundersath, and
7. The final period in which the souls will return to their original abode, Param Dham.
8. During this Last Day of Judgement, all jivas will be freed to eternal salvation.

Bitak Saheb is the bridge to reach to the heart of Kuljam Swaroop.  It teaches the way of life that a soul should live by.  By learning about the key events that took place in the life of Dev Chandra Ji and Pran Nath Ji, the reader or listener soul can apply this to their practical life.  Today, Nijanandi Sundersath seeks answers to their questions related to spiritual awakening from Bitak Saheb.  It details most teachings that are included in this book.  It also discusses specific place, event and time of the descent of the specific chapters of the Holy Kuljam Swaroop.  In absence of this knowledge, one may misinterpret the Holy Words.

Bitak begins with the discussion of the prophetic Hindu scripture Bhavishya Purana citing the event of arrival of Kalki incarnation during the rule of the last Islamic Emperor Aurangzeb in India.  In its concluding chapters of Asta Prahar Ki Bitak, it details the method of mental worship by a soul round the clock, while remaining engaged in life’s routine activities.   Right now, at least seven other Bitaks written by some poetic devotee Sundersath are also available.  But, they do not carry as much weight as the one written by Lal Das Ji with the title of Mahamati.

Param Dham Ki Badi Vrut is another important book, written through the divine powers of Mahamati in the person of Lal Das Ji.  It provides a vivid description, architecture and design of the supreme Heaven Param Dham.  In addition, Shri Nijanand Ashram, Ratan Puri has just recently published a book (in Hindi) containing 108 beautiful maps with detailed description for each one of them.  This is one more essential tool for the souls who want to practice Chitwani.

Key Revelations

The Holy Books of Nijanand Sampradaya are flooded with some very important revelations that are common among the major world faiths.  The Holy Kuljam Swaroop concludes with these topics.  In Bitak Saheb, these topics are discussed several times when Pran Nath Ji interacted with people of different faiths.  It is important for a seeker soul to have a general understanding of how Pran Nath Ji explained these common scriptural revelations.

Regarding the Day of Judgement

Many world scriptures, including Srimad Bhagvatam, Gita, Koran, and Bible, speak on this very important and most discussed topic.  In His Books of Divine Wisdom, Pran Nath Ji regards Srimad Bhagvatam and Koran as the two conclusive scriptures unifying the East and the West.  He solved all the puzzles of both the Koran and Hindu Puranas through the Divine Tartam Knowledge.

For instance, Koran talks about seven major signs that will become noticeable when the Day of Judgement will come closer.  The Holy Bible  also speaks about this topic.  In absence of the Tartam Knowledge, their interpretations of these signs and the time differ largely.  Pran Nath Ji clarifies the hidden meanings of these signs in the Holy Kuljam Swaroop and declares the uniformity among all the scriptures.

He says: “The coming of ‘Kayamat,’ or the period of ‘Kayami,’ or the Day of Judgement actually means the coming of the period of spiritual awakening of all souls.  During this period, the perishable universe, including all the worldly Jivas, will attain eternity for the first time.  Before this, no one from this land of mortals ever entered the eternal world of Yogmaya.  The process of Kayamat has already begun.  However, it will conclude by offering hierarchial eternity or ‘bihists’ to all the Jivas after their spiritual awakening.”

According to Pran Nath Ji’s Divine Plan, explained in the Holy Kuljam Swaroop, upon Final Disslution, the ‘Atmans’ (Brahmn Srishti Souls) will be awakened in their Original Abode –the Param Dham and Akshar Brahmn will be awakened in Akshar Dham.  Akshar Brahmn will then awake Maha Vishnu, who will eventually awake all worldly Jivas.  At this point, the process formation of eight eternal salvations (Eight Bihists) will come to a completion.

In the above verse, the Holy Kuljam Swaroop talks about the exact period of the occurrence of ‘Kayamat.’  Here, it says, “The Supreme Lord has fixed the date and the hour of the Day of Judgement by His own authority.  Only these three, who have descended from the Supreme Heaven, possess the exact knowledge about this: the Lord Himself, His Spouse (Shepherd), and the Sheep (Souls).”

Regarding the Signs of the Day of Judgement

Let’s understand the secret meanings of the seven signs, as explained in the Holy Kuljam Swaroop:

I. An animal named Dabh-tul-arj will appear on the earth.  It will have a chest of a tiger, backbone of a vulture, neck of a rooster, ears of an elephant, horns of a jungle bullock, and eyes of a pig.  Kuljam says, no such animal is going to show up in the world.  In fact, such a description is symbolic, and represents deterioration of human qualities.  A human being is to be regarded as Dabh-tul-arj.  When the Final Day (of Judgement) will approach, humans will widely exhibit the qualities reflective of each of the above description.

 A.  Humans will have a chest of a tiger.  They will become pitiless and violent hearted.  They will routinely engage themselves in the evil acts of corruption.  Rich and strong people will exploit the poor and weak.

 B.  Humans will have a backbone of a vulture.  They will be focussed completely toward materialism and will become very weak in religious and charitable activities.  They will risk buying heavy loans to satisfy all their luxuries, but will never do so to help others.

 C.  Humans will have a neck of a rooster.  They will have no sense of kindness and love.  The sense of respect for elderly will be lost.  They will hesitate to salute each other and even say ‘Pranam.’  Such a practice will be regarded as orthodox or old-styled.

 D.  Humans will have ears of an elephant.  It means that they will be unable to truly listen and act upon good lessons.  They will quickly pick up the negatives but it will become very hard for them to adopt anything good from others.  They will be more interested in material entertainment than in spirituality.

 E.  Humans will have horns of a jungle bullock.  Their minds will be constantly engaged in making enemies and wasting energy in fighting for the false.

 F.  Humans will have eyes of a pig.  They will exhibit a strong taste for uncontrollable physical desires.  They will forget the code of behavior that bolsters the human social relationship, especially the way men and women will treat or regard each other.  For example, people won’t have a sense of respect that was exhibited by Laxmana to his brother’s wife Sita. While in the services of Lord Rama and Sita for thirteen years, Laxmana never saw with his eyes toward Sita.  He regarded Rama as his Lord and Sita as his mother.  He could not even recognize the ornaments that Sita used to wear.  The point is that the human’s family and social relationship will deteriorate.  Cases of sexual abuses and related misconduct will become a routine story.

II. Dajjal will appear, as the time for the Day will approach.  Ii is stated in Koran that Dajjal will have only one eye, and he will be seen riding on a donkey whose back will be as high as touching the sky.  Kuljam says, this is unimaginable.  How tall would the Dajjal have to be in order for him to ride on a donkey whose back is touching the sky? This is just another metaphor used in Koran.  The analogy of a donkey is actually used for human beings and Dajjal is symbolic of false ego that rides on them.  Due to this ego, humans will have only one functional eye, i.e., they will be solely focussed on materialism and the false ego of the perishable body.  They will not think about their spiritual life.  This is an indicator of the degradation of human’s morality, increased involvement in violence and ethnic wars caused by various media.

III. Imam Mehndi will be declared: The Sun will rise from The West (Magrib): i.e., Imam Mehndi will arrive among Hindus.   The world came under the rule of His divine love.  As a witness, the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb received written documents called Vasiyat Nama from Mecca - the House of Allah - in the city of Delhi, India.  It is said that the dome of the Mosque of Mecca had fallen down during this event.  These highly respected documents of Islam stated clearly that Imam Mehndi had already arrived behind the curtain, i.e., among Hindus, in Hindustan.  Non-Hindus, including Muslims, won't be able to recognize Him because they will never think that He can come among Hindus.  Readers are requested to read more on this subject in the Kuljam Swaroop .

IV. The Dead will be awakened from their Graves: Dead are the human souls that are not spiritually awakened. They will be awakened (or resurrected) by the sound of Imam Mehndi.  This is, in fact, Kayamat that will enable the souls to attain their eternal abode.  At this time, all the worldly blemishes arising from the hard lined sectarianism will burn into ashes in the holy fire of the Lord's love disclosed by Imam Mehndi. More people will join the Soul Awakening (Jagni) crusade.

V&VI. Two archangels, Gabriel and Asrafeil will descend on earth: They brought the Supreme Lord’s power, spotless Tartam knowledge and holiness on the Holy Land of India.  Asrafeil will come with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God.

VII. Two enemies, Ajuj and Majuj will be declared: ‘Ajuj and Majuj’ means ‘day and night.’  The precious human life is regularly eaten away by these two obvious but hidden enemies.  Three sections of a day--morning, noon, and afternoon--are the three armies of Ajuj (day).  In ignorance, humans fail to notice this trick that Ajuj and Majuj play upon them.  They fail to recognize the true value of human life. During the time of the day, the material wishes and thinking of humans extend in hundreds of different directions.  During night, the tired Jivas of the entire world close their eyes and go to sleep, putting all worldly wishes aside.  Ignorant humans remain trapped in this death-ending cycle.

The human body is compared to a strong wall of an alloy metal composed of eight different components. These eight main components are: rus, the juicy matter; rakta, the blood; mansa, the meat; med, the fat; majja, the bone marrow; asthi, the bones; sukra, the semen; and oj, the brilliance.  They are regularly eaten away by day and night.  This meaning of Ajuj-Majuj was not clear to the readers of the holy Koran, which is now clarified through the Supreme Lord’s Divine Tartam Wisdom.  Misinterpreting the meaning of Ajuj and Majuj, they say that the Great Emperor Alexander (Sikander) built a big strong wall of an alloy metal to have protection from the attack of Ajuj and Majuj.  Pran Nath Ji says, “But, no one really saw such a wall.  Come to me to understand this sign of Kayamat, the Day of Judgement.”

The ‘Seven Days’ of the Lord

Kuljam Swaroop clarifies the seven days of Koran as seven specific periods and assigns a specific Bihist - the plane of salvation, to the sports, performed during each period: According to Koran (Tafsire Huseini), Allah will stay in this world for six days.  After the sixth day, the day of Jumma, Allah will announce the Judgement and liberate the entire world, and will return to the Supreme Heaven (Arse Ajim), with His souls on the seventh day.  The sixth day of Jumma is not the Friday assigned for the Nimaj (Sariyati).  These seven periods are:

I.  The First Day of the Divine Sports of Brij of 11 years and 52 days is the first part of  Lail-tul-Kadar.
II.  The Second Day of the Divine Sports of Raas that Supreme Lord played in the person of Banke Bihari Krishna in the universe of Keval Brahm in Yogmaya is the second part of Lail-tul kadra.  Raas lila khel ke aye Bare Arab Shyam (Bitak Saheb).  In the third part of the night, the Lord arrived three times for the jagni of the Momin souls.
III.  The Third Day of the Divine Sports of Basri Surat, who arrived in the person of Mustafa Beg as Muhammad Rasul in Arabia and brought Allah's final message.
IV.  The Fourth Day of the Divine Sports of the Supreme Lord’s Malki Surat who arrived in the person of Dev Chandra as Muhammad Giroh in Umarkot and brought the soul awakening Tartam.
V.  The Fifth Day of the Divine Sports of Hakki Surat who arrived in the person of Mehraj as Noori Muhammad in Jam., India.  According to the Holy Kuljam Swaroop , the sports of these three surats will receive eternity in the third and first Bihist respectively in Yogmaya.
VI. The Sixth Day of Spiritual Awakening (Jagni): During this sixth day, the Lord will do Jagni through different Momin souls.  The present period is the sixth and the most important period for all humans to awake and come under the divine rule of Noori Muhammad or Lord Pran Nath.
VII. The seventh day is the day of returning of souls to their eternal abodes.

The Three Manifestations of the Supreme Lord: Alaf-Lam-Mim

Secret words of the holy Koran, also, called hurf-e-mukt-aat.  It is clearly indicated in Koran that the meaning of these words will be disclosed when the Supreme Being (Allah) Himself will come to this world.  Imam Mehndi, in the person of Pran Nath Ji, disclosed it’s secret meaning.  Accordingly, there is no difference between the term ‘Alaf-Lam-Mim’ and the term ‘Sat-Chid-Anand.’  It represents three manifestations of the Supreme Lord in which He will appear on this earth.  Accordingly,

In the following verse, the Lord says,  “my earlier two manifestations—‘alaf’ and ‘lam’- merged into my third Hakki manifestation. With all the three together, I have now appeared on this earth in the garb of Imam Mehndi.”

This way, Imam Mehndi Shri Pran Nath Ji disclosed the secrets of Koran in His Holy Kuljam Swaroop.

Koran talks about The Five ‘Canals’ (Spiritual Sources)

The Holy Kuljam Swaroop discloses this secret of the Holy Koran.  The Five Big Canals specified in Koran refer to five forms in which the Supreme Lord sent His divine power to this world.  Koran does talk about ‘Five Canals.’  However, it is not disclosed about which they are.  According to Kuljam Swaroop, the five canals represent the Supreme Lord’s coming to this world in five different forms.  These are: Krishna of Brij, and of Raas, Prophet Muhammad, Consort Shyama (Dev Chandra Ji), and the Supreme Lord Akshrateet’s Command (Hukum).  According to the Kuljam Swaroop, all of them are spiritually combined or embodied in Mahamati Pran Nath Ji.  And, the world is reaping its benefit today.

Koran talks of the five types of ‘Pai-da-ish’ (‘Products’).

In fact, here Koran talks about the five different categories of humans.  Though these five categories are mentioned in Koran, its meaning has not been revealed therein.  Clarifying this, Pran Nath Ji says, ?these five pai-da-ish are nothing else but the human beings of five different categories, based on their origin and their way of worship.  According to the Holy Kuljam Swaroop and Bitak Saheb, these five categories are:

I. Kunn se:  The ‘Aam’ or Jiva
Srishtis, both non-believers and those who are lost in many false beliefs.
II. Of one hand:  Jiva Srishtis,
including those Muslims, who are strict followers of Sariyat (or Karma Kand) and worships/ed only one God or Allah.
III. Of two hands:  Jiva Srishtis, who
follows/ed the path shown by Nijanand Swami Dhani Shri Dev Chandra Ji and Pran Nath Ji.
IV. Mool Ipatdai se:  The Khas or Ishwari Srishti .
V. Mool Khilkat se:  The Khasal Khas, Chosen Souls   or Brahm Srishti.
